Although a native of Phoenix, Arizona, Wyatt Evans has been cooking the midwest landscape for over 20 years. Chef Wyatts' restaurant career began at the young age of 15 in Manhattan, Kansas. He started as a dishwasher in high school and quickly fell in love with the grind of restaurant life. His passion for food drew him to pursue line cooking and, after graduating high school, moved to the twin cities to be part of the growing restaurant scene. He cooked his way through some of the Twin Cities top restaurants including Figlio, WA Frost and Company and The University Club of St. Paul before opening his own restaurant, Heirloom, in 2015.
Wyatt joined Jester Concepts in 2018 as Chef de Cuisine of P.S. Steak after Heirloom closed. He is currently the Culinary Director of Jester Concepts, although he has been training and mentoring cooks at some of the finest restaurants in the Twin Cities for over two decades. He loves being part of a chef’s journey, teaching about food and sharing sources of inspiration with his team such as books, movies and music -all elements that shape the way he understands food.
